About this course
Content
This course is not taught 2015/2016. The course shall give an introduction to the background, rationale, methods, practices, applications, and experiences of Open Source Software, largely based on the existing course TDT10 (autumn). TDT10 will be kept as a half-course, and DT8100 will be possible to choose as a topic in IDI's other master studies. The first part of the DT8100 course will be equialent to TDT10.
Learning outcomes
Insight in methods to develop, maintain and reuse Open Source Software to efficiently build high-quality software with new business models for diverse application areas.
Teaching methods
Joint colloqium and own theory essay.
