After completing the course, the candidate should be able to:
apply current manuals for road planning and road and street design,
explain plan processes, technical plan and regulatory plan,
discuss principles for geometric design and technical execution of streets, roads, pedestrian and cycle roads and public transport route assessment, road testing and adaptation to the environment
assess methods for traffic flow analysis, air quality and noise, and possible shielding measures
explain methods of cost calculation

Skills
After completing the course, the candidate should be able to:
use professional sources and manuals in road planning and design
plan and implement simple planning processes
construct simple streets, roads, pedestrian and cycling roads and public transport facilities with good environmental adaptation
