After completing the course, students will have basic knowledge of wiring for both water supply, sewerage and stormwater systems. In addition, students will have a general knowledge of water treatment and wastewater purification methods.
Skills:

The students should be able to:
- describe the main components of a water supply, sewage, and stormwater system
- describe the most common treatment methods for drinking water and wastewater
- describe known methods for treatment and use of sludge
- make a reasoned choice between available drinking water sources
- make a reasoned choice between water treatment and wastewater purification methods
- explain the basic operation of the water treatment and wastewater purification facilities

General competence:
The students should be able to:
- Convey overview of the subject, for simple judgment and communication

The course is offered as combined online and excursions / collections. Lectures and guidance is performed using a web conference.

2-5 compulsory assignments.
