BFA Project Development

Development of the project that will be presented at the BFA exhibition in the spring, and work with the BFA exam text. Group work on planning and implementing the BFA exhibition.

To manage the development of a final project in preparation for the exam.
To be able to formulate a text that communicates, contextualises and reflects upon one’s town artistic practice.
To be able to work collectively on the planning and production of a public BFA exhibition.

Participation in elective courses/workshops/seminars. This can include continuing/advanced courses in various techniques/media/workshops, as well as thematic courses and projects. This part of the programme will vary from year to year, where the content will be determined by current professors. The minimum requirement is that students register for and complete at least one elective course per semester. Completion of the course will be part of the criteria for semester assessment.

Tutorials with main and second supervisors.

Further development of an individual artistic project through the semester, with the main focus on the preparations for production of the final BFA exam project.

Participation in working groups for planning and implementing the BFA exhibition.

Writing course and tutorials aimed at supporting the production of the BFA exam text. The first draft of the BFA text shall be delivered to supervisors by 1. December.

Practical course min documentation of artistic work, using photography, video and web.

An optional group study tour may take place during the semester.
