Artistic Work and Development

Participation in elective courses,workshops and seminars. This can include intermediate/advanced technical courses in various techniques, methods, materials or workshops, in addition to thematic courses and projects. This part of the programme will vary from year to year according to the plans of current teaching staff.

To develop depth and continuity in artistic practice and the ability to discuss one’s own project within a shared critical language, as well as to communicate the project’s main themes and ideas within a group discussion. To formulate a text that sums up artistic investigations that have been carried out and describes a planned development of the student’s project.

Participation in tutorial group meetings as well as further development of an individual art project that will be planned and carried out during the semester, as well as a more thorough presentation and discussion of the project within a tutorial group context during the course of the semester.

Individual tutorials with main tutor.

A more substantial text is to be delivered at the end of the semester. The document shall sum up and contextualise the student’s practice so far and shall define and formulate the primary theme or area of practice that will form the basis of 3rd. year studies and the BFA exam project. This will form part of the formal assessment at the end of the semester.
