Behavioural Toxicology

On completion of the course student should be able to demonstrate knowledge of how the behaviour of animals is modified when exposed to environmental pollution. Further, students should understand the way in which various organisms are effected by the different classes of pollutants. The course will be concerned with animals, but effects on the behaviour and intellectual capacity of humans will also be discussed. Subjects covered also include methods for measuring chances in behaviour. The framework of the course will be based on lectures as well as seminars in which active participation from the students is required. The course runs every second year, next time autumn 2012.
