About this course
Content
The course will be concerned with classic genetics, Mendels law of heredity, transmission genetics, molecular genetics and mutations. Lectures will also provide an introduction to population genetics, quantitative genetics and molecular evolution.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course the students should be familiar with classic genetics, Mendels law of heredity, transmission genetics, molecular genetics and mutations. Students should also be able to demonstrate insight into population genetics, quantitative genetics and molecular evolution.
