Theory in Human Movement Science

The course is set up in the form of a journal club where articles in the field of human movement science are presented and discussed. The journal club meetings will be held at least six times per year. The minimum requirement for passing the course is approved participation in a minimum of 6 meetings and at least 2 oral presentations of an article. Reading the papers and participating in the discussion is required in order to get approval of participation.

Students will acquire deeper insight into theories about human movement and learn how to critically read and evaluate scientific articles.

Meetings with presentation and discussion of a scientific paper. Part of the presentations and discussions will be in English. The entire course can be taught in English on request. Students will be evaluated on their participation and presentation. All participants will read all papers and present at least 2 of the papers.
