About this course

Content

The course gives an introduction into basic motor principles related to movement control, learning, development and ageing. Themes include different explanatory models of motor control and how different types of movements are controlled in a lifetime perspective. In addition to lectures, group activities, observations and discussions will be used to illustrate theoretical perspectives.

Teaching methods

The course has lectures throughout the entire semester. Up to 42 hours lectures/exercises/group work. Exchange students interested in the course must consult the Department for possible admission.
