Grammar: Continuation of grammar from Spanish I.

Introduction to Spanish speaking countries culture, history and society (also from an business aspect).

Basic Spanish communication

Knowledge:
- to be able to understand authentic texts at a basic level
- to be able to read formal and informal texts and explain the content and an author's opinion
- to be able to participate in informal conversations on general topics
- to be able to give oral presentations

Skills:
- to be able to use appropiate vocabulary and grammar in written texts
- to be able to describe aspects of the Spanish and Latin American culture
- to master the usage of past, future, conditional and subjunctive tenses
- to be able to communicate and be understood both in writing and speaking

Competence:
- to express emotions, points of view and opinions on general matters
- to be able to understand messages from newspapers, internet, TV, films and conversations at a basic level (A2-B1)

Pedagogiske metoder:
Individual and group presentations, traditional and CD-based methods, virtual methods, self instruction, films and lectures.  

Obligatoriske arbeidskrav:
Minimum 3- 5  exercises must be submitted an passed in addition to 80% class attendance in order for students to sit for the final exam. Written (1 or 2) exercises can be replaced by oral presentations.

Previously approved mandatory assignments do not need to be handed in again for later exams.
