BuildLAB

The course explores the design and building of small scale projects in wood, enabling the students to work as a team of skilled individuals from first sketches to built project, "as built"-documentation and publishing.

- Knowledge - 

Students are to acquire a basic understanding of how small scale projects are designed, built, documented and how working methods can influence each part of the process.

- Skills - 

Students are to participate and contribute in a small scale building project.

- Competence -


Students should be able to holistically assess a small scale building project as well as reflect, participate and contribute in a discussion and making of each part of such a project.

Maximum 16 students. Each years methods are designed to complement the theme of the course and can include lectures, writing, designing, building and discussions, among others.
